Our Creative Director Yasmine Yeya curated a special bridal collection along with some lines of Arabic poetry in the study of love. It’s a love monologue inspired by what an Arabic woman like herself would say to her man on their wedding night. Poetic, sensual, and nostalgic to the times where women’s power stemmed from their ability to love, nurture, and be the source of comfort and joy to their men.
حبيبي عربية أنا وأحبك حباً عربي
شرقية أنا وأريدك لي رجلاً شرقي
غرامي ها أنا حبيبتك ، مليكتك وفي الحب أنا لك كل النساء
حبيبي، أميرة انا في مدينتي، وفي يدي مفتاح قلعتي
سآامر بخفض اعلامي ،الليلة، عيون حبيبي ستراني
فأميرة القصر يا مليكي، لك انت، امرأة بكل الالوانِ
احبك حب الجارية للأحرار ، فيه رقص الغواني للتجار
غرامي ، اسكن جنتي ، متعباً انت من الأسفار
واشرب من سقياي خمراً ، فسقيا خمر الحب يا حبيبي حلالاً ، فأنا الخمّار
